Info re US Tariffs (not on the folders)!

Tariffs, Shipping Changes, and What Still Ships Duty‑Free

1. Good news first: there are no U.S. tariffs on any of our music folders, regardless of order size or dollar amount.
All of our folders are made in North America and remain duty‑free under USMCA.

2. Courier Shipping (UPS/FedEx) Continues as Normal

All courier options shown in your cart—UPS and FedEx—remain available.
For choir‑size orders or even top‑up orders of a handful of folders, courier shipping still provides good value.

3. Postal Shipping to the USA is Currently Paused

As of August 28, 2025, postal shipments to the U.S. are on hold due to changes under the new U.S. tariff regulations.
Why?
CBP is currently not recognizing USMCA certificates of origin on postal shipments, which incorrectly triggers assessment of duty.
Because of that, the low‑cost postal option (including delivery to PO Boxes) is effectively unavailable.
Note: we do permit shipping to a work address, or another address that's not connected to the address of your credit card.

4. Best Options for Small Orders

If you were planning to order just one folder, yes you can, but consider pairing your order with friends to share courier shipping cost. The per-folder shipping drops very rapidly with just 2 or 3 folders.
UPS Standard usually offers the best value for small combined orders.

5. Tariffs on Non‑Folder Items

Some accessories we sell are manufactured overseas. For these items—
ring adapters, magazine holders, stands, lights, etc.
U.S. tariffs may apply when they are purchased as standalone items (i.e., not bundled with your folder(s) during the add-to-cart steps).

Brokerage Notes re: shipping methods

UPS Standard: When tariffs do apply, UPS may charge a brokerage fee (often $30+).
FedEx, and UPS Express: Brokerage fee is already included in their express shipping services.

6. Summary

Folders: duty‑free, no U.S. tariffs.
Postal shipping: paused due to U.S. tariff processing issues.
Courier shipping: fully available (UPS/FedEx).
Accessories: tariffs may apply when purchased alone.

That’s the full picture.

International Orders (Non‑USA/Canada)

Orders shipped outside the USA and Canada are considered International.
Your shipper will apply:

  • VAT
  • duty (where applicable)
  • brokerage or import processing fees

We support major free‑trade agreements such as CETA/CEFTA (Europe) and CPTPP (Pacific Rim), and we prepare all paperwork accordingly to minimize or eliminate any potential duty.
We’ve shipped to 40+ countries, and your International Order will be handled under Incoterms CPT.
