US orders and proposed Trump tariffs
From early March, 2025, Trump has proposed to add a tariff of at least 25% to your orders. We suggest you order immediately to get ahead of this.
If this takes effect in early March, your shipper (Post/UPS/FedEx) would bill you tariffs additionally, before delivering. Plus any brokerage fees charged for their collection.
This new tariff, surcharging orders for tens of thousands of 'ordinary Americans' and thousands of schools we have served - for students, arts organizations, and musicians across USA - affects you. Leading my small 30+ year business of 16 staff, I am very concerned and disappointed. Please consider writing paragraph of objection to your Elected Officials about such tariffs on your high quality music folders, made for the musical world by us here in Vancouver, Canada. Their tariff code is 4820.30.
Doing the math:
Assuming this happens, we will chose not to prepay tariffs on your orders because it gives you a lower 'landed cost'. If we did pay them for you, you'd see a minimum 33% price increase on everything (because they'd be charging 25% on a higher base price). Your $1000 folder order would become at least $1333.
However, when you pay the tariffs, that $1000 order of folders is now going to end up around $1250 (plus some amount from the shipper as a brokerage fee) which, as the new normal in USA, is 'better'. We look forward to continue supplying you with our world-renowned (shipped to 40 countries) music folders, rapidly customizable with text and/or logo imprinting.
And further - to SAVE 25% or more - look to our Factory Seconds - while they last - people often have no idea why good 'Grade A' folders were discounted and I recommend them as a money-saving option.
