Info re US Tariffs (not on the folders)! - and holiday hours...

Holiday hours, and Info re US Tariffs (not on the folders), etc.

Holiday hours:
Web site and ordering is available 24/7 with no pause (use that 2025 budget! Or treat yourself now to the great folder you wanted).
We, however, are taking a holiday from December 24 to January 5th (inclusive)...and won't be here to answer phones, nor ship any orders during that period.
USA Tariffs:
Not on the folders! We make our folders here in North America.
Old news: Since Aug. 28th: Postal shipments to USA are paused pending resolution of issues since new Trump tariff regulations. It appears this cheapest shipping option is gone.
Specifically, CBP isn't respecting USMCA certificates of origin with postal shipments. And because that would incorrectly trigger 35% duty, that effectively eliminates cheaper postal shipping (which was the best option for single orders, and the only option for PO Boxes).

So, if that was you - just one folder - pair up your order with musical friends if you can, to split our other courier shipping options, for a best cost per folder. UPS Standard is typically your best value. On larger choir-size orders and top-up orders of at least a handful of folders, shipping value is still good via UPS and FedEx.
Bottom line: UPS/FedEx shipping are available, as listed in your cart.
It's time to condense information for you on those tariff changes increasing your cost of living.
  • Good news: there are no US Tariffs on any music folders, no matter what the dollar amount. They are duty-free under the USMCA trade agreement.
  • On other items made overseas (e.g. ring adapters, magazine holders, stands, lights) do expect Trump's new US Tariffs when: those items are bought individually, as a separate line item in your order (i.e. not bundled with a folder).
  • Cheapest UPS Standard shipping, when tariffs are expected, also has a brokerage fee which can be $30 or more. FedEx shipping options already include brokerage, if you are purchasing something that has tariffs expected.

That's the full story.

And for completeness, two more things:
"International Orders"
We call an "International" order one which is shipped to any country that's not the USA or Canada. "International" orders, as ever, will have VAT and/or duty and any brokerage charges for importation added by your shipper.
Various other free-trade agreements world-wide help with reduction of duty, such as the CETA/CEFTA in Europe and CPTPP for the Pacific Rim, and we'll designate that in paperwork - we've shipped to 40 countries and we know what we're doing. Technically, your "International Order" shipping Incoterms are "CPT".

Why not save more?
And now, while on this theme, here's a final point for your consideration:

To SAVE 25% or more - look to our near-perfect Grade A Factory Seconds - while they last. People often have no idea why good 'Grade A' folders were discounted and I recommend them always, as a sensible money-saving option. Customers regularly write back with thanks for the suggestion.
